What is Primary Live?
Primary Live is a fun, dynamic and educational concert designed for young people aged 4 – 11. Pupils will enjoy high-quality performances by young musicians presenting a wide range of musical styles, instruments and ensembles - all in an inspiring, professional concert hall setting.
The concert will be hosted by our professional presenter, Pete Letanka, who will guide pupils through the performances, introduce musical ideas, and lead interactive moments throughout the concert. Performances typically include choirs, bands, orchestras and small instrumental groups from primary and secondary schools, showcasing music from classical and contemporary styles to music from around the world.
Every Primary Live concert aims to:
Teacher Support
To enhance your Primary Live experience, Music for Youth will provide teachers with online learning resources aligned to the National Curriculum, as well as an online CPD session with our presenter, helping you to prepare pupils in advance and build on their experience back in the classroom.
